Have you ever wondered why after you Google search a pair of shoes, you end up getting hundreds of ads on Facebook about the same shoes? This is because Facebook collects metadata from every post, like, comment and search you make online to make assumptions about you.   Then they  sell that information to companies who post ads on items they assume will interest you. And it’s not just Facebook, it’s every social media site you visit.  So take time to find out what assumptions Facebook has made about you and delete the interests associated with you.  That should help alleviate some of the advertising popping up on your device.
